 बचपन में टाट पट्टी पर बैठकर लिखना सीखा,

फिर स्कूल की बैंचों और टेबल पर की पढ़ाई 

जैसे तैसे जुगाड़ कर, पास हम रहे होते आखिर एक दिन जा , बी ए की डिग्री पाई 

इच्छा थी इतनी भर , बने सरकारी अफसर ,

कुर्सी पर बैठकर करें लाखों की कमाई

 कितनी ही कंपटीशन परीक्षायें देते रहे,

 किसी में भी पर सफलता नहीं मिल पाई

फिर चाहा कि राजनीति में जा किस्मत आजमाएं

नेताजी बन करके ,किसी कुर्सीपर बैठ जाये,

चमचों से घिरे रहें,अपनी हो जय जय कार,

रिश्वत मे कमिशन, ढेर सा कमायें 

कुर्सी के खातिर हम , चुनाव मैदान में उतरे 

,हुई जब्त जमानत, पड़े वोट के लाले

कुर्सी की चाहत में, कुछ भी ना कर पाये,

तो अब फिर क्या करते, यूं ही बैठे ठाले 

दुकान पर पिताजी ने ,आखिर में बिठा डाला 

बैठ कर गद्दी पर, खूब की कमाई  

 बैठे-बैठे लाला जी बन गए हम लेकिन, नसीब में हमारे कुर्सी नहीं हो पाई 

 रीड की हड्डी अब बुढ़ापे में टेढ़ी है उठने और चलने में, मुश्किल है बन आई 

 पूरी हुई लेकिन अब, चाहत है कुर्सी की

 चलने और फिरने को व्हीलचेयर है पाई
